Most of his relatives work in the casinos. Even though I told him I believe that when you marry someone that you also marry their family and that I don't see myself ever being a part of his family, he basically said he wants to continue seeing me to see if we could make it work. He's not Jewish. I never thought religion would be that much of a marriage factor for me, but I realize it is more than a religion which matters. Most Jews have the same outlook on family values and education which makes it easier when trying to unit families.
