They picked us up at the airport, took us out for dinner and dropped us off at our hotel. Next day my brother drives into the city and shows us how to take public transportation and drives us around to see the major sites, golden gate park, sutro baths, ocean beach, golden gate bridge etc. Sunday my brother drives us into the city again to pick us up and to go wine tasting in Napa. Monday we were left on our own and Tuesday my brother's wife arranged for her friend to take us around the city and show is the nightlife. Same on weds she took us around during the day. On Thurs my brother had us meet them at Berkeley and his wife gave us a tour of the campus. We drove to the Vacaville outlets because I wanted to go shopping. We left late so they dropped me off at the city. In Friday night, i went clubbing with my sister in law's friend and her brother. Then on Saturday my brother picked me up from the hotel and we went sailing on his boss's yacht in the bay. My last day was when it was all ruined. My brother was supposed to pick me up in the city to show me the sites i didn't see yet and have dinner. He calls and cancels because he says he is tired driving me around and says i never pitched in for gas or toll. I said i bought him lunch and besides he never asked me for money. The argument ended there and he was supposed to drop me off at the airport tomorrow. He never asked me so how should i know. i never asked to go to these places. He is the one who took me. Thats when he had to start doing random breathalizers, then he blew dirty at one and had to go to treatment where he was discovered to have HyperIntensity, a mental disorder which is only worsened by the drinking, so they were going to put him on pills. Few nights ago he blew dirty again because he had five beers after one in the morning. I was driving when we went to the police station for his breathalizer. The Border Patrol showed up and checked him because he was mexican, they never checked me. He found out that his SSN wasn't HIS, it belonged to a dead man. In fact, his name wasn't even his own. Now he is in INS custody awaiting possible deportation. He worked at a local mexican restaraunt that we found out was bringing in illegals right before he left it. When he was arrested we'd already decided to report his old boss, considering how dangerous the guy is, tom didn't want anything bad to happen. Getting arrested by the INS was Tom's chance to spill everything he knew about the operation and use it as a bargaining chip. Considering the state has been trying really hard to catch this guy, they are working a deal with my hubby that he is in Mexico for as little as two weeks and as much as 2 months, then he will be given full citizenship and a new name. I just don't understand how the government can get away with racial profiling whenever it pleases. Something about this whole situation just smells really fishy, and others have admitted to feeling the same.
